What types of payment does the court accept?
The court accepts payment by cash, check (personal, cashier, or company), money order, or credit card (accepted in clerk's office/online)*. If you are sending a company check, please attach a copy of the citation.

Q. Whom do I make the check, money order, or cashier check out to?
A. New Philadelphia Municipal Court
Q. What are the Court Hours?
A. Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Payments are only accepted until 4:00 p.m.
Q. I just got a bondable citation and I cannot pay the fine by the date to appear in court. Can I set up a payment plan?
A. No, if you wish to set up a payment plan, you must appear in court on the date stated at the bottom of the citation.
Q. Who do I send my probation fee to?
A. Send probation fees to the New Philadelphia Municipal Court. Please Include the case number and note that the check is for a probation fee. Checks and money orders can be made payable to New Philadelphia Municipal Court.

  4. Answer questions about money owed to the Court;

  6. Direct you to where you need to appear in Court.

The Clerk's Office Cannot:

  1. Give you legal advice;
  2. Fill out forms for you;
  3. Tell you what to say or write;
  4. Recommend lawyers;
  5. Reschedule for the Judge's offices.
